“The Recital”
Today is my first piano recital.
I want to try out the piano,
but the room is filling with people,
and that makes me too shy to sit down and play.
I love music, and I’m happy with my progress so far.
I’m playing “Fur Elise” by Beethoven today.
Maybe I’ll just play one note. I won’t sit down.
I’ll just stand here and touch the piano.
Maybe no one will notice.
